| A Classic Show by a Classic Man |
| I cant belive i am the first to review this album...i bought it thinkin it was a bootleg of some sort but turned out to be a great live show...a show in witch jimi was not scheduled to plays...from the liner notes it says something like....Jimi was hanging out in a coffee house in NYC late 1968 where he desided to take the stage of his own free will and have a bit of a jam with i guess the house band who was playing that night...half way through the infamos Jim Morrison takes the stage with jimi and procededs to scream ,curse and do the whole drunk Morrison thang...If you know what i mean...Johnny Winter and Buddy Miles also end up on stage where this band procededs to knock out a bunch of blues material a beatles tune and a few other classics...i recomend this album to any hendrix fan...these artists put together a great show with jimi playing without pedels just for his own enjoyment...buy this album and put on a happy face |
